Lutz Windhöfel has studied History of Art and Architecture and History in Basel and Heidelberg and holds a PhD from the University of Heidelberg.
He acquired the trade of acquainting an audience with phenomena of word and image as project manager at Basel Theatre, as curator at the Museum for Design / Museum für Gestaltung in Basel and as editor of a daily newspaper in Chur. |

He has long standing experience as a tour guide and lecturer at museums, schools and universities in both private and professional contexts. Furthermore, he has been writing on Art and Architecture issues for the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung (1985-1997), the Kunstforum International (1991-1996), the Weltwoche (1994-1997), the Kunst-Bulletin (1985-1993) and the Neue Zürcher Zeitung (1989-2010).
